Featured Bio: Dr. Lee Li Liu

Dr. Lee Li Liu was educated in Beijing, China. In 1980 she was awarded the national certificate of classical special education in TCM and recognized as a Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Lee grew up in a family with a tradition of education in science and art. Her mother is a dentist, her father an engineer. In 1991, she left Beijing and came to American. She hopes to further cultural exchange between east and west.

In 1995 she presented the NCCAOM with her qualifications and credentials from her education and medical career in China. She was certified in Acupuncture and Chinese herbology in 1996 and has practiced in Santa Fe for eight years. She encourages Americans to learn TCM skills and bring this original knowledge to NM public health.
